At Plush Tan, your safety comes first. Our state-of-the-art German tanning beds help you tan gradually, and our team will guide you through proper session times based on your skin type. Safety first, glow always. 😍
How long does a session take?
Your first session typically starts at 4–7 minutes (can vary) to ensure your skin adapts gently. With consistent visits, we gradually increase the time, depending on how your skin responds.
The maximum session time is 17 minutes, depending on the bed and your skin type.

How many sessions do I need to see results?
Every skin type is unique — some clients see color after just a few sessions, while others build their tan more gradually.
To help first-time clients get the best experience, we recommend starting with our UV Tanning Starter Kit, a special package that includes 10 sessions across both Stand-Up and Lay-Down beds.
This ensures consistent progression and even color development. ✨
Stand-Up or Lay-Down — which tanning bed should I choose?
Both tanning bed types at Plush Tan are the same strength, but they feel different:

- Skin is closer to the lamps, so it may feel slightly more intense
For first-time clients, we recommend:

What should I wear inside the sunbed?
Wear whatever makes you comfortable — a bikini, underwear, or you can tan nude to avoid tan lines. Your room is completely private.
You must wear protective UV goggles during every session.

How long does a Spray Tan last?
Your Spray Tan typically lasts 5–7 days, depending on aftercare and hydration.
What do I wear during a Spray Tan?
Wear whatever you’re most comfortable in — your own bikini, underwear, or go nude for no tan lines.
The room is fully private. 🫶
How long should I wait before showering?
You should wait 6–8 hours for the solution to develop fully.
After that:
- Rinse with lukewarm water
- Gently pat your skin dry — no rubbing
- Apply moisturizer to lock in your glow
Soft care = soft, even color. ✨
Will the Spray Tan transfer to my clothes?
Some transfer before your first shower is normal.
We recommend wearing loose, dark clothing.
After rinsing, transfer is minimal to none. 👗
